Praising Him...

for working a miracle in my Mom's life!!!!!!!

Mom has been back in Birmingham this week since Monday.  After many, many doctor visits and appointments, we have WONDERFUL, AMAZING, EXQUISITE news!  Originally, she wasn't supposed to have a CT Scan until next month.  However, she had one yesterday and heard back from the results late this afternoon.  The large tumor, that the radiation was aimed at, is beginning to shrink!!!!!  There is a lymphnode in her neck and another one under arm that appears to be a bit larger since December, but her doctor feels as though they are simply "imflammed" from the radiation that she has been receiving and no reason to worry.  She got excellent reports from all of the other doctors as well, and doesn't have to go back to Birmingham for 3 months!!!!

We are so grateful for all of the prayers that have been lifted up in her name.   I know that God heard every one of them, and is still working and healing Mom.  Recovery is a long process, and she still has a long way to go before she is back to herself, but this news has certainly lifted such a burden of doubt off of so many shoulders.

I have been wanting to write these words for sooo long, and I am so grateful tonight, that I am able to share this awesome news.

Though I am rejoicing from the reports today, my heart is also broken for a precious family that is experiencing indescribable grief.  I ask you all tonight, as you are thanking God for this wonderful news today, that you also ask for comfort, understanding, and healing for the Brittany Shepard Pugh family.  I'm sure all you local readers know the situation, but for you out of towners, this beautiful soul and her precious 15 month old baby boy were taken to Heaven so unexpectedly Monday in a car accident.  I ask that you pray specifically for her husband, to give him tremendous strength that only You can provide in the upcoming days. Pray for the families, to wake up and face another day, even when they feel as if they can't.   Pray for her close girlfriends...oh how my heart just aches for them tonight!  Pray that their friendships only strengthen with each tear shed and hug exchanged.  I know you all are praying people, so, please, don't let me down.

thanking, rejoicing, praising, and crying out to Him,
c
