Happy Mother's Day!

Mom was feeling pretty good today and was able to go to church this morning.  She's still in some pain and still doesn't have any energy, but we are all so thankful for the progress that she has made so far!  I'm so glad we were able to spend today with her at home and not stuck in the hospital.

No news is.....

GOOD news!!!

I know its been a couple of days since the last post, but I'm back with good news! Mom got to come home late yesterday afternoon!!! So far, so good! Shes not feeling the best, but definitely feeling lots better than this time last week. She had a couple of spots that showed up on her MRI, but Birmingham has assured us that they are only bone spurs. We are very thankful for that news!!! I will update more and post pics over the weekend. Thank you for your continuous thoughts and prayers!

latest and the greatest...

Well, not so much the greatest, but it's all I could come up with tonight.  I feel like a broken record, but here goes...last night was a loooong night for her.  She's still in quite a bit of pain, so the doctor upped her pain meds again today.  I left her tonight resting, but have since talked with them and she is awake,  feeling a little sick.  We are hoping to have more answers tomorrow about what's going to happen next.

We are all overwhelmed by everyone's generosity.  We will be forever thankful for all of the visitors, cards, flowers, snacks, encouraging words, and especially prayers.  We love you all and hope God blesses you for blessing us.
